About Bill Coote and Becoming Healthy
Bill Coote
I'm Bill Coote, an Australian dietitian with over 30 years experience. My qualifications are a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, a Master of Science in Food Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics.

From 1971 through until 1976 I worked in a variety of Sydney hospitals including Prince Henry and the Royal Hospital for Women. In 1976 I moved to Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide as Chief Dietitian of the new hospital.

I offer personal nutrition consulting to people with food-related illnesses and those interested in health promotion and disease prevention

Becoming Healthy is the business I established in 1976 as somewhere for people to go for specialised nutrition products, diet plans and personal advice. My wife Lyndal, who is also a qualified dietitian, assists behind the scenes. If you're having problems with your weight, I can help with Body Talk Mealshakes and my Becoming Healthy Weight Control Program. My Diet Planning Guide is now available on CD. More information...

I can also assist with the management of dietary problems such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood cholesterol and feeding problems associated with illness or lack of appetite.

My personal interests include wooden boat building, historic motor sport and flying.

My office is on the mid north coast of NSW, Australia, in a region called the Camden Haven, halfway between Port Macquarie and Taree. Our nearest town is Laurieton.
